Painting the Year with Purpose: The Colours of Malta Update

At R.A. & Sons Manufacturing Ltd, The Colours of Malta initiative was created to celebrate the islands through a year-long journey of compassion, community, and culture. Each month of our 2025 calendar is dedicated to a local charity — represented by a unique colour that reflects both the spirit of Malta and the essence of each cause. What began as a creative expression of gratitude has become something far greater: a shared mission to give back and make a difference across the islands.

Earlier this year, we shared how the first five months of 2025 had raised vital funds for local organisations working tirelessly to support people, animals, and the environment. Since then, the journey has continued — and the generosity of our community has only grown stronger.

From January to September, The Colours of Malta calendar has now supported nine incredible organisations, each representing a colour, a cause, and a story of compassion.

  • January OASI Foundation: €520.50 raised to support addiction recovery and rehabilitation in Gozo.
  • FebruaryBeating Hearts Malta: €317.93 donated to help children living with congenital heart disease.
  • MarchWomen’s Rights Foundation: €365.08 contributed to promote gender equality and empower women across Malta.
  • AprilArka Foundation: €309.17 raised in support of people with special needs and their families.
  • MayHospice Malta: €451.95 donated to provide palliative care and comfort to those in need.
  • JuneGozo SPCA: €413.08 raised to help protect and rehome animals across Gozo.
  • JulyNature Trust Malta: €302.52 contributed to environmental conservation and wildlife protection.
  • August YMCA Malta: €273.59 raised to support the homeless and vulnerable — alongside a Book Drive that collected an entire pallet of used books, thanks to walk-ins, SPCA, the San Lawrenz Local Council, Gharb Goes Guatemala, and many more generous supporters.
  • SeptemberACICA Malta: €304.81 raised to promote children’s education and well-being. ACICA will be visiting our site on 14th November for a special commemorative photo.

Together, these efforts have so far raised over €3,250 for Maltese charities — a heartfelt reminder of what can be achieved when compassion and collaboration come together.

We’re currently supporting Europa Donna Malta throughout October, standing behind the Pink October movement and raising awareness for breast cancer prevention and care.

As we approach the final months of the year, we look forward to continuing this meaningful journey — with Voice for Inclusion Gozo in November, promoting disability awareness and inclusion, and Foodbank Lifeline Foundation Malta in December, helping to bring comfort and nourishment to families in need during the festive season.
