Raising Awareness, Inspiring Strength: The Marigold Foundation Joins the Conversation
October has always been a month of colour, compassion, and courage — and this year, that spirit shone brightly at R.A. & Sons Manufacturing Ltd.
As part of ‘The Colours of Malta initiative’ and in support of the Pink October movement, we were honoured to welcome The Marigold Foundation for a special talk dedicated to raising awareness about cancers that affect both men and women.
Led by Mrs Michelle Muscat, President and Chairperson of The Marigold Foundation, the session offered a powerful and heartfelt reminder of the importance of knowledge, self-awareness, and early testing. Together with a group of cancer survivors, Mrs Muscat shared stories of resilience and hope — encouraging everyone to take an active role in their health, to talk openly, and to never underestimate the power of prevention.
The discussion covered a range of cancers often highlighted during this month — including breast, testicular, prostate, ovarian, and those related to HPV awareness — reminding us that awareness is not just about one cause but about the wellbeing of all.
At R.A. & Sons, we believe that understanding and awareness save lives. Moments like these remind us why The Colours of Malta initiative exists — to unite our community, start meaningful conversations, and encourage every individual to take that small, but vital, step towards self-care.
We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to The Marigold Foundation, Mrs Muscat, and the survivors who shared their stories with honesty and grace. Your message of courage is still motivating us all.
